A Fukuoka JALT – Busan-Gyeongsang-Daegu KOTESOL Joint Symposium
This Joint Symposium is a collaboration between the Busan-Gyeongsang-Daegu Chapter of Korea TESOL (KOTESOL) and the Fukuoka Chapter of the Japan Association for Language Teaching (JALT). This event will feature speakers from both countries, selected by their respective organization.

Fukuoka JALT is seeking presenters for our upcoming joint symposium with the Busan-Gyeongsang-Daegu chapter of KOTESOL. Presentations will be 25 minutes, with a 5-minute discussion period and should focus on topics related to the symposium theme of “collaboration across borders” in the context of language learning and teaching.
Presenters should submit an abstract of up to 150 words explaining the details of their proposed presentation and its relevance to the symposium theme, plus a short academic biography. Submissions should be made online to this form: https://forms.gle/Ya6zTSsASnA6gVyF6
Submission deadline: July 15, 2026
Due to the limited number of presentation slots, acceptance decisions will be based on relevance to the symposium theme and language teaching and learning. Preference will be given to JALT members and to members of the Fukuoka chapter.
